For Jennifer Jones Schroeder what began as a love
affair with the island of Bali has evolved into a burgeoning jewelry design
and children's costume business known as Jennifer Jones Designs International.
A native of McComb, Mississippi, Jennifer is foremost
an artist with a unique perspective. "While other kids were drawing
on paper, I was painting a mural on the interior doors of my Volkswagon
bug!" says Jennifer.
In 1987, Jennifer started Jennifer Jones Designs, Ltd.
as a special events and decorations firm for conventions. "I named the
company Jennifer Jones Designs, Ltd. knowing that as an artist, my venue
was subject to change but the company could handle whatever creative
process I felt the muse for at the time - and it has served that purpose
well," said Schroeder.
